Privacy Policy

Last updated: 25 October 2026

LESH ("we") helps people in Lebanon find local services and events. This policy explains what information we collect, why, and the choices you have. We keep it short and simple. We do not sell your information, and we do not show ads.

1. What we collect

Your phone number, to sign you in with a code sent on WhatsApp.

If you list a business: business and contact name, WhatsApp number, services, area, working hours, years of experience, description, photos, social media links and your chosen plan. This information is public once approved.

If you post an event: event name, type, description, date, time, venue, area, price, organizer name, WhatsApp number and photos. This information is public once approved.

If you write a review: your rating, comment, whether you would hire them again, and the name you choose to show (optional). Reviews are public once approved.

How you use the app: which business profiles are viewed and when someone taps WhatsApp, and your answers to "Did you hire them?" (including the reason, if you give one). We use this to send you follow-up questions and to show businesses simple totals (views, contacts, hires). Businesses never see who you are from these totals.

If you pay for a plan: the plan, amount, date and your payment reference. The payment itself is made in Whish; we never see your Whish account, card or bank details.

Your chosen area and language are saved on your phone only.

2. What we do not collect

We do not read your WhatsApp chats. When you tap WhatsApp, the chat opens in the WhatsApp app, between you and the business directly. We do not track your exact location: you pick your area yourself.

3. Why we use it

To run LESH: sign you in, show listings, events and reviews, send notifications (approvals, contacts, reviews), keep the app safe, and improve it.

To check content: every photo and text sent to LESH is checked automatically and by our team, so that nothing political, sectarian, racist, sexual, violent, insulting or misleading is published.

4. Services that help us run LESH

Supabase stores the app data and photos on secure cloud servers, which may be outside Lebanon. Meta (WhatsApp) delivers sign-in codes. Sightengine and Anthropic check photos and text automatically. These companies only use the information to provide their service to us.

We may share information if the law requires it, or to protect people from harm or fraud.

5. How long we keep it

We keep your information while your account is active. You can delete a business, an event or a review at any time from the app. When you delete your account, we delete your listings, events, reviews, photos and notifications. Simple totals that cannot identify you may be kept.

6. Your choices and rights

You can view and edit your information in the app, delete your listings and reviews, and delete your whole account from the Join tab ("Delete my account"). You can also email us to ask for a copy of your information or to correct it.

7. Children

LESH is meant for people aged 18 and over. Do not sign in, list a business or write reviews if you are under 18.

8. Security and changes

We use secure connections and access rules so people can only change their own information. No system is perfect, so please keep your phone and WhatsApp secure. If we change this policy, we will update the date above and tell you in the app if the change is important.

9. Contact us

Questions or requests: [email protected]. LESH is owned and operated by Jad Yammine, Lebanon.
